Working Western Disciplines

Riders train and compete locally, regionally, and nationally in many of the working Western disciplines, including roping, team sorting and penning, reining, ranch riding, ranch trail, versatility ranch, and reined cow horse.

Saddle & Sirloin has both a covered arena and an outdoor arena that service the working western disciplines. Equipment for the disciplines includes an automated cattle flag, poles and other obstacles, a Smarty Steer, roping dummies, and areans that can support live cattle. One of Saddle & Sirloin's signature events is it's annual Ranch Rodeo, which hosts 10-12 teams of working ranch cowboys competing in events that include stray gathering, wild cow milking, trailer loading, and team penning. This evet attracts national champion teams from the region.

Additional western disciplines include Barrel Racing and Cowboy Obstacles Racing.
